Review: Lavilin

A deodorant that lasts for seven days without having the need to re-apply? This was probably one of the extravagant lies that I have ever heard. So I thought. However, I was curious about Lavilin ($15) and jumped at the opportunity to try out this product. I'm trying to break away from the traditional deodorants since they have been suspected of causing breast cancer. Worrying about that would probably be enough to make anyone sweat.

Of course, I was very leery and was tempted to apply something else over the Lavilin to not risk embarrassment. I never did and was surprised that this company lived up to their claims. It didn't last for a week for me, but it did last for 5 days - much longer than most deodorants out there whether they are natural or not. During those 5 days, I never did detect the slightest hint of odor even after a shower.

Lavilin is made up of natural ingredients including chamomile, arnica and calendula oils. Even though it comes in a small container, it can probably last for several months. The only "bad" thing I can say about this product is that it could be a little cheaper since $15 is a bit much for a deodorant. It will also be nice for them to come out with a more clear deodorant to make it less obvious.

I also received the Foot Deodorant ($16). Since I haven't worn sneakers for years, I haven't really had any problems with my feet. Therefore, I passed this to my boyfriend. I asked him what did he think about it and all he had to say that it was okay. We all know what that means, he really liked it, but he wasn't going to admit it.

Are you curious about these particular products, but don't want to shell out too much money yet? They also have a trial size of each product for $1.
