Review: ProSilk Ceramic Mini Flat Iron

The ProSilk Ceramic Mini Flat Iron works miraculously at smoothing and straightening the hair. This small flat iron works well with short hair styles as it does for long or medium-length. This is the perfect tool to take on trips if you don't feel like fussing with a bigger flat iron since it is lightweight and very to use. I attempted at making a small curl with this flat iron, but that did not work out at all since it is too small. However, it helps at keeping my hair pin straight and frizz free. It does not heat up much as I would like it to, but it is probably for the best since that is less damage for my hair.

The Ginger Soymilk Hair Wash ($9 - $27) is described as a gentle shampoo that is ideal for all hair types. The only thing is that it wasn't ideal for my hair much as I was hoping it would be. It smelled great, but it made my hair a tangled mess and my hair was drier than Sahara Desert after using.



The Hamadi Shea Rice Milk Conditioner ($11.50 - $38) is a daily detangling conditioner for all hair types. It has a pleasant, clean scent. It didn't rinse out quite well, but it may have been where I had to use so much of the shampoo. I got a bit carried away with the conditioner as well. It did a wonderful job at keeping my hair tangle-free and frizz-free.It also made my hair softer and much more manageable.



The Shea Spray ($23 - $38) was my favorite product out of the bunch. They recommend spray this product onto clean, wet hair and blow-dry to eliminate frizz OR spray onto dry hair for a quick fix and extra shine. Not only this product makes your hair prettier, but makes it look healthier and younger as well.

Review: NightWave

The NightWave ($59.95) is an effective device that will help you get a good night's sleep naturally. I was a bit skeptical before trying out this product. As I have mentioned before in previous posts, I have trouble sleeping. As someone who has suffered many sleepless nights, I appreciate a product like the NightWave.

NightWave works best in a dark room. This device projects a soft blue light on the ceiling. The "luminance" of the light slowly rises and falls. All you have to do is lie down with your eyes open and synchronize your breathing with the blue wave as its movement becomes slower and slower. It will shut off a small period time and you will doze off before you know it. Unlike the sound machine I've tried out in the past, it doesn't disturb others.

The NightWave is the perfect alternative to prescription or over-the-counter sleep aids. Unlike medication, you don't have to worry about your money slithering down the drain on one co-pay since all you have to do is refill the batteries in the NightWave.

This product is a must have if you have trouble sleeping. I know that I couldn't sleep without using this device!

My hair is medium-length, but I prefer using the Brushlab Ceramic Flow Thermal Round Barrel Hair Brush 63211 more than the one picture above even though it is ideal for long hair.
