Who is She?: Shē Essential Beauty was founded by Laura Kauffmann and Beth Hooper, licensed acupuncturists and Chinese herbalists. Wanting more from a skincare line, Laura and Beth decided to create a brand centered around the concept of beauty from within, mirroring the holistic approach they offer in their Chinese medical practices.

The Chinese character Shē means luxury, a quality we embrace with each unique recipe. Their products are paraben free and made without synthetic ingredients, and our formulations harness the healing power of Chinese herbs while maintaining a luxurious smell and touch that triggers a sense of well-being.

Both Laura and Beth hold Master's Degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and maintain their private practices in New York City.

I tried out their Washing Grains ($30). This product has a blend of flowers and oatmeal combined with Chinese pearl and jasmine tea to clean and tighten pores while gently detoxifying the skin. I love the smell of their washing grains - so relaxing! It reminds of a floral mask I tried out in the past. I found this product suitable for my sensitive skin. It wasn't harsh at all and it will give your skin a nice glow. I've been tempted to use it as a facial mask, but I'm not sure how well that would go. It is a bit pricey for the size, but I highly recommend it if you have sensitive skin!

The giveaway will conclude March 31st.
