I never tried the original Heat collection, but I had the opportunity to try out the perfume from the new Beyonce Heat Rush Perfume for Women Collection ($24 - $59), which is the ultimate scent for the warm weather since it perfectly captures the essence of summer! It's delightfully sweet, cheerful, romantic, tantalizing, and sexy. I instantly capture notes of orange, orchid, mango, but the musk isn't easily detectable. This is good since my top favorite scents are usually light, feminine, and cheery. I don't have a particular fondness for heavy scents and this what I was expecting this perfume to be for some reason. Not the case at all!

Padina Cosmetics Review

I've tried many eyelash conditioners since I have started this blog, but it has been quite awhile since I've featured a review on one. I recently came across one that I really liked. I chose to not review the one I received prior to this since I had a terrible experience. I'm referring to a company called RevitaLash in case you're wondering. I have read esteemed reviews regarding that company. Therefore, I can't but wonder if I came across a bad batch. Maybe not since you can't go by everything you read on the internet, unless you've had first hand experience.

The Padina Eyelash Conditioner ($120) is a bit different than the eyelash conditioners I've tried in the past. It's made with a total of 23 different herbal extracts sans the harsh chemicals found in most eyelash conditioners on the market. You might want to refer to this link link since many brands are known to cause serious risks.

The herbal plants in the Padina Eyelash Conditioner contain the exact proteins that each eyelash is composed of in order to give your eyelashes the same building materials for growth enhancement and volume. Padina is already making a splash in Hollywood, as it was hand selected by Rob Robinson for Fred Segal Apothia in their Melrose shop.

To guarantee a higher effectiveness of this botanical formula, Padina has created a blending of western and oriental herbal and mineral science that they've coined a "Botanical Revolution," with a unique nano-blending technique that combines all ingredients into a fine liquid that is extremely penetrating and stable. My Thoughts:

I'm uber picky about what I apply around my eyes since my eyes are very sensitive due to photophobia, which means light sensitivity. However, I think it contributes sensitivity to other things. Therefore, I was a bit leery about trying this new product out since I didn't hear too much about it prior to my experience. Since it doesn't have the chemical muck that most eyelash conditioners are known to have, my curiosity got ahold of me.

I haven't had a such a good experience with an organic eyelash conditioner since Lash Mantra. I used product faithfully every night as recommended (no need to do it morning and night to achieve results) and I started noticing a slight difference in the third week. They were noticeably longer after 6 weeks. I like that I didn't even feel the slightest sting when I accidentally got some product in one of my eyes. This was enough for me know that they stand by their word when they say that they only use natural ingredients in their products. In case you have never used an eyelash conditioner, it's very easy to use since you apply it like you would with a liquid eyeliner. After desire results are achieved, you can this eyelash conditioner every two to three days to maintain the results.

My Thoughts: This fragrance is light, spring-like, and delightful to the senses. It smells like something I've used before, but I can't exactly put my nose on it. However, the bergamot is quite evident, which happens to be one of my favorite scents....and tea (Earl Grey). The only daunting thing I find about this fragrance is the need to re-apply quite often. Other than that, I love it!

My boyfriend even complimented me on the shade! The Lira is a shimmery beige. I was not the least disappointed with my selections. Unlike the last nail polish I reviewed, this nail polish dries seemingly in seconds. Like most nail polishes out there, it needs a basecoat and topcoat to get stronger staying power. I am so pleased with my experience with Borghese that I'm tempted to buy the Menta, Marino, Violetta, and Chroma.

I recently received the Sheer Lip Glaze in #506 - Honey Gaze ($13) from Monave. I was expecting it to be darker since it looks like a dark raspberry color on the outside. However, the color turned how to be a very, very light raspberry color. You can wear it alone or use it as a topcoat to make your favorite lipstick stand even more. It provides high shine without the stickiness. I love it! Despite the names of the Sheer Lip Glazes, I didn't detect a taste, which isn't very important to me as long as I have a good quality lip gloss.

My Thoughts:

For the past couple of months, I had been experiencing breakouts. Therefore, I've been very, very careful on what I use on my face. This is one of the products that have been helping out tremendously. I like that it doesn't sting or make my face red after using it, which I have experienced with some facial masks in the past. It's very light and has a whipped, creamy texture. It is also very easy to wash off. I'll admit that I'm not too keen on the smell, because it reminds me of Vick's VapoRub. However, it's a really good mask to use if you can get past the eye-watering smell, which only lasts for about a couple of minutes.

“Balancing Act”

Step 3: Moisturize

For combination skin, try Cures Pore Balancing Moisturizer ($37.50). This featherweight crème not only purifies and releases impurities trapped in the skin, but also equalizes the pH level to balance skin.

When I first received Reb'l Fleur, I was pleasantly taken back by the beautiful and generously sized bottle. The fragrance is feminine and flowery without being overpowering. I believe that the scent will appeal to all ages since it is youthful, yet mature. It's certainly the kind of fragrance that would never get boring!

Reb'l Fleur is as much in tune with Barbados-born Rihanna's roots as it is with the glamorous of her present life in New York City. Created by internationally renowned perfumers, Caroline Sabas and Marypierre Julien, this fruity chypre is joyous yet intense, sophisticated yet marvelously surprisingly. Plump, delicious fruits, red berries, purple plums, and juicy, ripe peaches, make a scrumptious impression. Then the heart opens into a lush hybrid hinting at Island life, subtle yet intoxicating, blossoming with sumptuous florals, a passionate melody of Hawaiian Hibiscus flower, violet, tuberose, and coconut water. I received the Loch Ness Mystery, which is an alluring azure hue that exudes a mysterious charm. They promise on the the site that it takes within 3 minutes for their nail polish to try, but it seemingly took a little bit longer than that. It was well worth the wait! I just love the fact that there's no need for a basecoat or topcoat, because this saves a lot of time and money. I also like that their nail polish doesn't chip easily. However, you can peel it off just like that, excluding the need for a nail polish remover.

Their polishes have a longer shelf life than other water-based products. They contain any of the chemicals found in typical nail polish: toluene, dibutyl phthelate, formaldehyde, acetone, and heavy metals. Scotch Naturals WaterColors have been tested by Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database and recieved a ranking of 1, making them the safest polishes on the market. With all of this said, it's well worth $15!
