Looloo’s Escape is the creation of husband and wife team Damien and Laura Thareau. Damien is a graduate of the University of Paris France, majoring in studies of biology and Chemistry. His education led him in his career of laboratory studies and business management. Damien has a deep passion for nature and the great outdoors, which took him out of the laboratory into working in extreme sports, and project management in sporting events. Laura is a practicing esthetician, who has worked since 2004 in the finest spas of Los Angeles specializing in skin care and whole body treatments. She is passionate in skin care and takes every opportunity to educate her clients in how to understand and treat their skin. Laura shares Damien’s love for nature and takes every opportunity to utilize nature’s fine ingredients in body care.
Together as a team they recognized the great need for organic natural body care products in the spa industry. Looloo’s Escape was created to offer the finest spa products that are highly effective, extremely luxurious, and most importantly earth-conscious. All in an adorable, reusable, eco friendly jute tote. Their fragrances include Hawaiian Lemongrass, French Lavender, Caribbean Lime, Tahitian Tangerine, Swiss Peppermint, and Brazilian Grapefruit. I opted for everything to be French Lavender since lavender has recently become one of my favorite scents, because it's a true scent that helps me relax and unwind.
Body Butter - I'm not too keen on most body butter, because I have had an unpleasant experience with several since they were either too thick and/or greasy. This body butter is very light, though. It's also good at moisturizing the skin. And, I just love the fragrance!
Sugar Scrub
- I'm a self-confessed body scrub addict. I have tried many different brands and this one make's it to my list of favorites. It's much, much better than the body scrub that I reviewed recently even though that one is good and unique. However, this buffs away the dead skin cells and banishes dryness much better. It's very good sensitive skin, though. It is not abrasive at all, which I think is very unnecessary for a body scrub. Another good thing is that it isn't greasy in the least.Body Wash - Their coconut based body wash is super moisturizing! It's very foamy, but it doesn't contain harsh detergents that can strip, irritate, or dehydrate the skin. It also doesn't contain artificial fragrances, chemical preservatives, or any other toxins that could pose a threat to your body. If I made bath products, this is exactly how I'd want my bath products to be. It's highly nourishing for the skin and the pure, high quality ingredients makes it even better!
