Artisan Naturals has always adhered to the highest standards when formulating. They have carefully selected from the finest quality ingredients available. More often, they source materials including essential oils, herbs, butters, and other extracts purchased from relatively small companies around the world which practice sustainability and wild-crafting.

Recent emphasis on the importance of the "organic certification" may actually hurt these smaller farmers, producers, and wild-crafters. The Zinc & Aloe Anti-Acne Clarifying Treatment Serum ($19) is currently a staple product in my beauty routine. Like most acne products, it doesn't work overnight, but it has been a tremendous help at keeping the acne at bay ever since I started using it. I've noticed way less breakouts. Just a pimple here or there every now and then. Nothing major.

The key ingredients in this serum will help combat the sources of break-outs and blemishes. Zinc controls acne causing bacteria, natural Alpha hydroxy acids from fruit and sugars exfoliate, while essential oils help to regulate oily skin conditions.

The Green Tea Clarifying Cleanser with AHA ($24) is a gentle yet effective cleanser that wondrously treats oily, sluggish skin without stripping the delicate balance of oil and moisture. My face feels so clean and smooth whenever I use this cleanser. I only use it once a day (preferably in the morning) since I've noticed my face gets slightly irritated when I use it morning and night. This is probably because I have very sensitive skin. Other than that, it's a great cleanser to use, especially if you have problematic skin. Natural fruit acids and Willow bark exfoliate and purify as well as Green Tea extract to produce a supple and balanced complexion.
