The founder's passion for a healthy lifestyle has been incorporated into her love of providing natural nail care services. From the custom-blended oils that she uses to the many benefits of a hand & foot massage, she believes that manicures and pedicures are essential components in any quest for holistic wellness.

After working for several years in some of the best spas and salons in Los Angeles, she knew that she wanted to create something more. In 2007, she joined the renowned Cloutier Agency. Painting the nails for international fashion campaigns, magazine editorials, film, television, and “red carpet” events gave her the access and ability to give her input on trends and techniques. As her interests in the beauty, fashion, and wellness industries evolved, so did her desire to create a collection of lacquer that’s fun, chic, and smart.

With Sheswai Lacquer ($13) they set out to create a collection of nail color that is chic and playful, with a naturally glamorous feel. From soft & sheer, bold & bright, or dark & lovely, they trust there is a Sheswai color for everyone.

Sheswai Lacquer is free of formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP's, making it less toxic. And their caps are made from sustainably harvested wood, grown on family-owned tree farms. Sheswai is the first nail polish in the beauty industry to use a custom wood turned cap, thereby reducing the use of plastic.
