Founded and developed in 2004 by Loisaida Labs LLC., JUARA offers a variety of skin and body care products ranging from a revitalizing body scrub and nourishing facial masks to a soothing eye cream and a sun-protecting lip balm. Efficacious and rich in active botanicals, all JUARA products and treatments are formulated with the highest quality ingredients that cater to every skin type and enhance its natural balance and comfort.

The Juara Travel Kit: Glow on the Go ($42) boasts their bestselling products - Rice Facial Cleanser, Tamarind Tea Hydrating Toner, Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer, Turmeric Antioxidant Facial Mask, and Travel Size Candlenut Hand & Body Balm. They guarantee awesome, soft, radiant skin within 2 weeks. It is supposedly a 30 day supply, but I went through most of the products within 2 weeks. I guess you can say that I loved them a little bit too much. My favorites were the Turmeric Antioxidant Facial Mask and Tamarind Tea Hydrating Toner.

I've tried many toners, but I like theirs the best! It made my skin feel really soft. It contains a calming infusion of white, green, and black teas to instantly comfort and deliver healthful antioxidants to the skin. Tamarind is widely used in Indonesia to treat various ailments due to its medicinal and revitalizing properties. In this toner, tamarind works to increase the skin's hydration level and enhance skin smoothness and suppleness.

Their Turmeric Antioxidant Facial Mask became one of my all-time favorites. I loved the warm, tingly feeling it gave my skin. This assured me that it was working. I could tell that it helped keep the skin clear with the little that I was able to try out. This unique treatment mask detoxifies, brightens, and strengthens the skin in one single application.

The Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer and the Candlenut Hand & Body Balm are the only products that I have left. I love to apply it around my eye area to keep it moist. You can also mix it with your favorite foundation for a matte, but moist finish. This hydrating moisturizer combines a patented, clinically proven form of fermented sweet black tea with nourishing rice bran oil. Rice bran oil, high in fatty acids and natural Vitamin E, hydrates the skin. Regular use reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The Candlenut Hand & Body Balm rocks at keeping my hands feeling moisturized without a hint of greasiness - yuck! It relieves even the driest skin and protects it from the drying effects of water, wind, and other harsh elements with a soft, cushiony barrier. It contains candlenut oil, revered in Indonesia for its supremely moisturizing properties.

  1. Hi Hil'lesha,
thanks for the great review. I recently read about the benefits of turmeric, in cooking and in skin care, so this review was particularly interesting to me. I wonder how well they work on a variety of skin types. Thanks for keeping me and everyone else up to date on the latest in natural skin care. I mentioned before that I'm working on my own line of pure (free from harmful chemicals) and proven effective personal care products and am looking forward to the day (soon) when I can get samples to you to try. I think I mentioned to you in my e-mail that I've started my own blog to share my journey bringing our products to market as well as a bit about my own perspective on living a life (trying to at least) free from harmful chemicals. I hope you'll check it out and let me know what you think (http://mloublog.squarespace.com). You can also follow me on twitter (puristics). Thanks again for sharing. I'll keep reading!

  2. Thanks for quoting all those natural ingredients to treat skin care. I didn't know that tamarind is also a helpful supplement regarding skin care. Nice sharing of an informative article. Keep posting.
